Description |
The Allen-Bradley 1747-L551 processor is used for Allen-Bradley SLC 500 programmable controllers and supports addressing of 4096 I/O over 32 connections. The Allen-Bradley 1747-L551 processor includes an RS-232 port communication to send and receive ASCII characters and to connect to devices that communicate either through DF1 protocol or through DH-485 protocol and an Ethernet communication port which offers a high-performance network for program upload or download, online editing, and peer-to-peer messaging over vast distances. This processor provides a real-time clock/calendar and a user-configurable memory for either data storage or program storage which has a size of 16 kilo words with a basic set of 107 instructions. The 1747-L551 processor can operate at a temperature range of 0 degrees to 60 degrees Celsius (32 degrees to 140 degrees Fahrenheit). The Allen-Bradley 1747-L551 processor is used for applications which require both high-speed data transfer between information systems and/or a large number of controllers and internet/intranet connection. |
